John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, defines worship as “not only something we do —offering praise and offering ourselves, but through worship, we receive grace.”
At Sapling Ridge Global Methodist Church, we gather each Sunday at 11am to give honor, glory, and praise to the one God-The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. We worship passionately through prayers, singing of hymns, readings of Scripture, the preaching of God’s word, and the administering of the Sacraments.
Worship happens every day as we continue to give God the honor glory and praise in whatever area we find ourselves in. However, coming together to worship is necessary to encourage, strengthen and build the body of Christ.
We come together each Sunday with an expectation of encountering the Living God and that He would continue to work in and through us. We pray that His love displayed for us in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ fills our heart and moves us to love Him and our neighbors through the power of the Holy Spirit in a perfect way.
