Not only do we love one another, but God’s love moves us outside of the church to love our neighbors in Chatham County and surrounding areas.
We are eager to witness boldly the lifesaving and transforming love that God has for us through Jesus Christ to as many people as possible.
We witness in many ways through words, deeds, and missions. We take seriously the Great Commission given to us by Jesus Christ to go out into the world making disciples of all nations and baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28: 18-19)
During the COVID pandemic, we worshiped outside at the Silk Hope Ruritan parking lot. We were blessed to share the message like John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, did over 200 years ago. People came from all over Chatham County. While the pandemic is over, we plan to return to that ministry and witness. The first Saturday evening of each month is dedicated to worshiping God as we witness to our faith.
Each month we provide a hot meal to those of our church family that cannot make it to church. While the food feeds them physically, our visits to deliver the meals feeds them emotionally and socially. This small action of witness has big returns in so many ways.
We would love for you to join us as we try to faithfully build up the Kingdom of God.
