Worship today was a bit different because Jason was sick (hold him in your prayers!) and Carolee was traveling. But the subs did a great job. Thank you Randy and Lex and Choir for leading worship today. After worship we celebrated being new creatures in Christ by releasing butterflies. The sun was shining and it…
Each Easter we do a Butterfly release on Sunday after Worship. This reminds us that we are all new creations once we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. We remember that He slept in the tomb for three days and then rose again, conquering death and sin. Our butterflies are starting to emerge. Join…
Beautiful day to say Hosanna to the King! We were welcomed to Worship by Cayson and Walker, giving bulletins and palm branches. During the first hymn we were invited to place our branches on the altar. Our choir shared their talents with the cantata, Dawn of Resurrection. It was a beautiful mix of new songs…

The Choir gave the church a very special gift in the Cantata this year. The music was so uplifting and shared the story of God’s greatest gift. Carolee also led the congregation in joining with the traditional Christmas carols. Before the end of the cantata, Pastor Jason reminded us of the Advent candles of Hope,…

The Second Sunday in Advent focused on Peace. We were blessed to have a new Advent Wreath to adorn our sanctuary. Brian and Hannah led us in our Advent devotion. Advent, truly a time to anticipate the Messiah’s birth and the advent of peace that passes all understanding.
Advent, a time of preparation and anticipating. Add to that Communion and we have the full picture of God’s gift to us. Our Sanctuary was adorned with things to remind us of the coming Lamb. The Vickery family shared the Advent devotional and lit the candle.
