Fun after dark, 4/18/2025

Our youth gathered to have some fun and then hunt for treasure (aka Easter eggs) in the dark! We had 17 youth join us for snacks, activities and then the hunt.

We played the plastic wrap game where they had to unravel plastic to get prizes. Addyson won the grand prize, a gift card in the middle. Then we made Empty Tomb buns. Once the buns were baked, the marshmallow in the middle reminded us that Jesus did die, but then rose again.

The Easter Egg Hunt required everyone to have a flashlight. Jalen got a gift card for bringing the biggest flashlight. Then Abbie got a gift card for finding the most eggs, 38. Tommy got a gift card for finding the most green eggs and Logan got a card for finding the most purple eggs.

We closed the night in prayer, thanking Jesus for loving us enough to die for us and then rising again to promise us eternal life, if we only believe in HIm.

Thanks for all the parents for bringing the kids and to the kids for inviting friends.

Everyone knows how hard it is to unravel plastic wrap.
The person to the right was rolling dice and rolled til they got doubles. Then they got to tackle the plastic wrap.
Making Empty Tomb buns
Biscuit flattened out, marshmallow in the middle. Roll in melted butter and sugar.
The bottoms were burned but the tops were delicious.
Needed a flashlight to find the eggs.
Church light came on to also help.
Thanking Jesus in prayer.
The one egg the teens did not find. Easy to see in the daylight the next day and was found at the Children’s Egg Hunt.
