We were treated to a wonderful program in the sanctuary.
First, the Joyous Christmas Sounds ensemble from Chatham Charter shared Angels, We have heard on high. They were wonderful and we hope to have them come again to share their talents.
Lex and Josh led congregational singing of Christmas carols.
Then we had a shepherd (Cayson) and his lamb (Walker) tell the story of Jesus’ birth.
Finally, Easton shared his talents on the guitar with Away in the Manger.
And then, we ate. Lots of great food, homemade soup (thank you Tabitha) and lots of sweets for dessert.
The evening ended with a visit from the jolly, St. Nick (thank you Brad). The kids and adults all got into the treat of sitting on Santa’s lap and asking for Christmas goodies.
It was a great night, enjoyed by all. Thank you Amy for organizing the event and thanks to all who participated.
