We had a lot of hands from both Sapling Ridge and Mt Vernon available to pack 200 food bags for Love Chatham to give out in their distribution on Friday. The bags had a great mix of meal items, like canned goods and pasta, and some fun things like marshmallows and potato chips. There was also fresh veggies to be handed out.
Because we had such a great group, we were finished in 60 minutes.
Thanks to all who came and helped fight hunger in Chatham County.
