Dinner and a Song, 12/20/23

It was a special night for our members who cannot make it to church often. They got a hot meal of turkey and the trimmings, a basket of Christmas candy and fruit, and a poinsettia.

But this month had an extra special addition, caroling. We divided into groups so that we could share some Christmas cheer but make sure the hot meals were delivered in time for dinner. It was a great evening. While we were singing, most of our church family sang with us. An example of the church in action.

This picture says it all. While the food is a good blessing, just having someone drop in is a great blessing. Hannah wasn’t expecting us and the meal was most appreciated. She enjoyed having us all in her home for a brief time to share some Christmas joy.

Thank you to all who provided food, boxed up the food, put goodies in baskets and then delivered and sang. What an act of love!
