Backpack Production Line, 8/1/23

You have heard the saying, “Many hands make light work”. That was seen first hand tonight as members of Sapling Ridge, Mount Vernon and Rocky River Baptist gathered at Rocky River to stuff 200 backpacks with school supplies needed by the kids of Chatham County. The tables were loaded with backpacks, glue sticks, pencils and all kinds of things. The Gideons also donated New Testaments. So while the kids are learning their ABCs at schools, they also have access to learn about their Savior.

All this work today was done in preparation for the celebration this Saturday, 8/5 at 11a at Rocky River. Spread the word to have families with kids to come and join the fun. Hot dogs and trimmings, games and a backpack give away is waiting for you!
