Today we remember what happened many years ago after Jesus had ascended after His resurrection. He told his disciples to wait for the gift of the Spirit that would soon come. And come it did, as a roaring wind and flames of fire. The disciples were baptized in the Spirit and began to share the Gospel throughout the world. So as we remember our fallen service members and the ultimate gift they gave to keep this nation free, don’t forget that Jesus paid the ultimate price to give us freedom, from the wages of sin and death.
