Tonight we had the privilege to serve a meal to the Silk Hope Ruritans. This is one of the fundraisers we do to be used to a variety of missions. And the Ruritans were treated to a wide variety of food, ranging from pot roast and chicken tenders to several types of veggies, mac and cheese, congealed salads, homemade rolls, desserts and drink. Some of the Ruritans voiced concern that there was too much to choose from and their plates were not big enough.
After the Ruritans had their fill, we got to enjoy the fruits of the labor, and we soon realized that our plates were pretty full too.
Thank you to all who supplied the food and a large number who came to serve the meal and clean up.
